Welcome. Surprised the Bianchi doesn't have any celeste on it. Was that the original colour?

Hi from hertfordshire In the UK

Welcome aboard from Australia. As a relatively new rider, I often talk to folk who wistfully remark how they used to ride....until they met their partner. While recognising everyone has their own unique situation and sometimes there are compelling reasons to stop (eg. finance), and far be it for...

    This last summer and more.

Welcome mate. Thanks for sharing a wonderful story. I will deliberately take the secondary roads every time. It's not about the destination, but the journey, in a physical sense. But it sounds like riding is going to be a great journey for you in the emotional sense too.

    Thread for your Bonneville movies

I love seeing Bonneville movies....reviews or rides, especially from overseas. We have a thread for pics, why not have one for movies? It would be great to have them in one accessible place. If anyone has any movies on vimeo, youtube, or anywhere else that they'd like to share, post the link here.

People often ask me, "Why do you ride?"

Yeah, no one asks me from a philosophical perspective, but people often express a concern for the dangers of bike riding. As with most things, my response depends on the spirit of the enquiry. If I can't be bothered talking about it, I'll often say ...'Never substitute the thrill of living for...

People often ask me, "Why do you ride?"

Just got sent this link. I understand the film has limited release in the US today. The trailer looks great and partly answers that question..... http://whyweridefilm.com/screenings-videos.html

Securing helmet to bike while I go off wandering?

Well, it's a beautiful 24 deg(C) today. Not a cloud in the sky and being a Friday, it's POETS day (Piss Off Early Tomorrow's Saturday). So I think I'll go for a scoot in the hills and finish at a MC shop to pick up a D-lock for my helmet. I know everyone usually just leaves them on the...

    Bonneville T100 v Motto Guzzi V7 v Kawasaki W800 Review

Hey Keith....when is it not sunny in WA? I was at work today when the sun came out (had been raining in the morning). I had a bit of a gap in the shedule, so drove home, hopped on the bike and had a 'magic moment' riding in the sun, back to work. Sometimes it's hard to explain that to non-riders.

    Bonneville T100 v Motto Guzzi V7 v Kawasaki W800 Review

Bonneville T100 v Kawasaki W800 v Moto Guzzi V7 comparison in this month's Australian Motorcyclist. I think they were a bit biased and the review was superficial, but the Bonnie still comes up trumps, I reckon. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4hSyWXJ6yZcNTFYakZSejhNTDA/edit?usp=sharing

    Riding.....

We'll, November is the wettest month, but it's not like we are in a tropical zone, like Northern Australia. However, the irony is that while we are lamenting the rain, just up in Sydney, they are suffering heat and terrible bush fires...go figure.

    Riding.....

It's been raining all week since picking the new bike up last weekend. Last night I just had to go out into the garage, sit on it, fire it up and rev it a bit. It didn't overcome my frustration, but it helped.

    Another new Aussie

Bonafide, thanks for a great forum. Must be a shitload of work. Thanks for the commitment. Strokerlmt, is that stroker's lament?...or perhaps stroker's limit? Anyway, the black bike with the gold wheels looks awesome! And Sporty, will be in touch very soon. That vid to Kilcunda is wonderful. I...
