    Bonnie winter project finished

Hi fellas. I've been away from the forum for a long time (largely due to wasting my time on a Harley!). Sold the harley and bought a 2nd Bonnie to work on over the winter. Here's the project for anyone interested: http://frankselbow2.blogspot.com/ BEFORE and AFTER

Motion Pro D-Shaped Carb Adjustment Bit in the UK

This is for anyone in the UK looking for a cheap carburetor pilot mixture screw adjustment tool. Motion Pro, USA don't take orders for their carburetor pilot adjustment hex bit outside the US (http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/partno/08-0242/) and I didn't want to buy another aluminium...

    Kriega R35 Motorcycle Rucksack

I just bought the Kriega R35 rucksack. I wanted something I could use for weekend trips as well as commuting to work. I decided to splash out and buy the Kriega as there didn't seem to be a huge choice in motorcycle-specific backpacks. Anyway, my review: PROS: + Nice harness system that...

    Bonnevilles failing when wet

I'd hoped to start a poll on this subject, but can't find the right button. It would be interesting to know how many of you have had running/ starting problems after the bike gets wet (rain or washing...or any other sources of wetness:piss:). I was having running problems when I rode in...

    Air Fuel Meter pool

Hi lads. I'm putting together a pool for one of those a/f meters http://innovatemotorsports.com/products/lm2.php. The idea being that they're $500 and it's a fairly one-off use kind of gadget (once you're set up you're set up) so it made sense for a bunch of us to get together and buy one...

    Good place for handlebars

Guys, I just found a great place for good quality handlebars: www.thehandlebarcompany.com They're based in New Zealand and they're cheap (£39/$78 including shipping to the UK). Fast, friendly service too. I ordered the Heritage Western bars, which are - in my opinion - better than the...

Can we strip our tanks to bare metal?

Hello people. I'm thinking of stripping a fuel tank to bare metal and polishing it and clearcoating it. Does anyone know if this is possible? Or how stock tanks look beneath the paint e.g. lots of ugly welds etc? Details of what's involved? Your help is appreciated.
