    Whats this for

If it's got a wire bridging a couple of contacts it could be the alarm connector.

A little dispointed in my new bonne

I recently got me a 2002 1200 Trophy and have been riding that around since. Then today I fancied a change so I donned me leathers and went out for a run on the T100. What a difference, so much slower with a lot less acceleration. But, and here's the but, a much lighter machine with a different...

    Triumph Panniers

Here's a shot of just the racks: The indicator extensions are a part of the NH frames. The thing about this set up is that with the back rest on the top box the wife finds it real comfy, especially with the KQ seat. I have also now added a top rack to the top box so stuff like tent...

    Triumph Panniers

Got the full Givi set up. 36L panniers and a 42L top box complete with additional brake lights in it. The top rack is the Rentek and the side frames are Norman Hyde.

    Fuse Panel Installation

Looking good there. I'd show you a picture of under my seat, but what with the alarm, autocom and the remote charge and power system, its all getting a bit cramped :)

    Starter-Head light relay

Sounds like a loose wire or bad earth time. It might be that a fault on the coil side of the relay is causing it to 'chatter', this will burn out the contacts as quick as anything.

    Fuse Panel Installation

Agree with using the supply to the tail light to switch the relay. The relay is going to supply the new fuse panel I presume. However, you REALLY need to put a fuse in the line from the battery to the relay. If anything goes wrong with the relay you will soon have a nice warm bum :eeek:

    Starter-Head light relay

To help, specifically why did you have to replace the relay. Burnt out contacts or non-functioning solenoid coil ??

Another, But TOTALLY DIFFERENT, Tire Question...

I've got a 1963 Triumph with the original type rubbers on it and I can say quite definitely that if I could get modern tyre technology on the rims I would!

    Dim Headlight

You want more light, go HID: Link Fitted one a year ago now. Superb light output and no problems.

    just put sport demons on

I'm confused  Not long ago I decided to change the stock Metz tyres on me bike. Well a bloody great hole in the rear helped make up me mind :eeek: When I phoned around the local tyre places they all came back with the same response, that the only tyres recommended for the rims...

    Protecting the Shiny Bits

Wow, glad your OK. Mine are on order now, cant wait to get them fitted and get back on the bike. Plaster comes off this Thursday so hopefully by the weekend I will be able to wiggle the gear lever and get some mile in :woot:

    Sag

Forgive my demented sense of humor. It's just the mixed use of measurement standards. Imperial at one end and metric at the other. Told you I'm weird :D

    Protecting the Shiny Bits

Yes, thanks for those pic's. Just about to place an order for a set for me T100  Also fancy a set of the highway pegs but as I've just found a chunk out of the side wall on me brand new front BT45 they will have to wait.

    Sag

Sorry, sorry. Just that this reminds me of the old joke of an Irishman measuring a door opening at 3 feet and 16 mm.

    Lif & Long Term Storage

I read that review before buying the unit, but it didn't put me off I'm glad to say. That being said I think the shortfall in the unit is the lack of information on how best to use it. I use it every day (when I'm riding) and find it easy as pie to use. The trick is to roll the bike up onto...

    Protecting the Shiny Bits

Yep, bikes cost to repair, bones heal for free. Not quite the way my wife see it though!!!

    Protecting the Shiny Bits

Hi all, I'm sure Ive seen a thread somewhere re: crash bars, but can I find it! Not ridding me T100 at the moment as I'm nursing a broken ankle. Going round a tight right hander (two up) the rear lost it on something slippery on the road surface. I managed to correct it out and get the...

    Lif & Long Term Storage

Things are a bit tight in my garage (shed) what with the T100, wifes CB500 and me old T90. So I use a tail slider for the T100. Its a 4 caster plate that you ride onto and then slide the tail to where you want it. Helps to keep the bike parked right up in the corner :c
