I like the paint scheme of the green bike, but like the color blue better. Blue and cream would look good together. I also like the brushed finish on the motor over the chrome.
I love the look and sound of the pipes, but I haven't got much ridding time on them yet with it being so cold. I just put them on in October right after I got the bike.
I'm actually going to make my own fork brace and then make a new fender from a 60's style fender blank. It will be a small fender, but no fender in the rain sucks.
I started with a cereal box and started cutting. Once I got the template made I traced it onto some stainless sheet metal. Cut it on the band saw, drilled the holes and went to my buddy's shop to use the break. Now I need to make a support bracket to keep the plate from bouncing.
You can go to Summit Racing and buy a kit with bends and straights and make you're own set of pipes. All you need is a grinder and a welder. You could take a stock set of pipes to get the 2 ends that bolt to the head and go new from that point on. Then you would just have to buy a set or a...
Here is the latest look. I'm starting to work on making my own fender eliminator kit and relocating my rear turn signals closer to the rear shocks. I have the under mud guard made from stainless and the stop light and plate bracket will also be made with stainless. I'll post more pictures later.
I had to remove the rear wheel to get the air box out. I just started reomving a little bit at a time. I was able to leave the mounting points for everything except for the front part of the fuse box. I may move that to the inside of the air box sometime this winter. I removed the snorkle...
