45 in Nov and two years riding full time. I started by borrowing a buddy's HOnda trail bike when I was 16. Didnt ride again until 43, unless you count 20 drunken minutes on a friend's HD in the barracks parking lot. He put it in first gear, turned the bars to the left slightly and bungee corded my casted left leg to the fork. I rode around in a big circle until I fell over. More beer and I was okay. Friend was fine too until he sobered and saw the scratches.

63. First ride was a Lambretta scooter at 16. Then a bunch of used Hondas and Suzukis (wish I had the X6- Hustler). Now the Bonnie and a Tiger 1050 riding 12-15K per year.

52. Got a mini bike for Christmas in '68. Couple of years later a Bridgestone 90cc hand-me-down. By then I was an addict. The Triumph bug really started when I saw my first Bonneville in '74. Seeing the New Bonneville reawakened that bug, after a nice raise at work I finally was in a position to act on an old urge. :headbang2:

Nice to see the younger crowb appreciating Triumph's. It is great to see the dedicated 'more mature" riders that frequent this site. I don't feel as old and worn out....I have company....
