    Mines a 2009 EFI, Never had to use the 'choke' this year and i am guessing your summers are warmer than ours? I still have the AI connected and yes they do get hot but not to that degree, dont mess with anything! Take it back to the dealer it's still warranted.

    Go for it, advice from an old biker? get the best you can afford, you want to spend time riding it not repairing it although after saying that the majority of Triumphs seem to go to mature responsible riders.

    I fiitted new Hagons last week, glad I had a main stand, even so I still had to put a sisscor jack under the rear wheel to lift it slightly, maybe easier with a mate to help?

    Totally agree, I swapped my Honda CB1300 for a bike with class and style, a bike that every one stops to look at. a bike that will create discussion, a bike with enough power to give me the grin factor, Yes the Triumph Bonneville does everything I ever needed from 2 wheels.

    A9718000 and 9718001 are Knee pads, A9708102 is a tank pad strip, I am after the small square shaped rubber pad that was out a few years ago, a Thunderbird part but we fit them to our Bonnevilles, very simmilar to the rocket 111 tank pad, stops your belt/zips scratching the Tank,
