    Tuning help needed!

Do you have a cable and tuneecu? You could use tuneecu to compare your current map with the custom map on the tuneecu site... LINK You don't have to load it to just compare. You can use the option in the software - differences in the mapping will be notated with a white dot. Couldn't...

    How best to remove stickers?

Has anyone had any luck hitting the leftover outline with 1500-2000 grit sandpaper (wet) and then buffing? Figured I'd try that before worrying about repainting. -Flip

    D9 on '11 Bonnie SE

Great work - had a couple small, wtf moments (why won't this ignition switch sit all the way down? Oh, because I'm supposed to use these supplied spacers...) But I figured those out in about 30 seconds. :pick: Got this as an early father's day gift and couldn't be happier. Thanks! - Flip

Day in the garage...AI/O2 removal and Rectifier Relo

So I hacked off more extraneous bits from the bike this morning. Even fabbed up a half-assed rectifier relo bracket and moved the horn under the tank (now that I'm typing this, I forgot to make sure that worked...). Complete AI removal was a breeze - used a 13mm box end wrench and some M12x1.25...

    How best to remove stickers?

Heat gun and a fingernail worked for me. Cleaned up the residue with a bit of wd-40. I didn't know that they were cleared over until a little too late. So now I have the outline of the stickers on my sides. Not noticable unless your a couple feet away. I'll end up repainting them one of these...

    Stalling after airbox elimination

Probably not - are you burning any oil? You could also check the compression if it's going to keep you up at night... If you don't have a tester, Harbor Freight sells 'em for ~$20.

    Midwest Flooding

I don't think things have gotten worse, it's just that we have video and pictures of EVERYTHING. Also, weather and disaster trends and records are a relatively recent advent. - Flip

Neat Article on Triumph Parallel Twins

Stumbled across this old-ish article/editorial from MC mag. Enjoy, Flip Parallel Universe Q Parallel-twins are usually made with 180-degree cranks. I suppose this allows the engine to be smoother as inertial forces are in balance. The firing order works out to 540 and 180...

    Stalling after airbox elimination

TuneECU link, a USB to 16 pin OBDII cable with FTDI chipset and your trusty laptop. Do some research, but the fuel injection on these bikes is not all that complicated, and you should be able to flash that ECU quite easily.

Dime City Lucas LED tail and homemade signal relocation

Just finished up everything - installed the Dime City tail and made some signal brackets. I made the brackets out of some scrap aluminum with a hacksaw and some hand files. I'll probably end up picking up some British Customs ones, but we'll see. The tail isn't level, but I'm planning on...
