CC Rider over at the NTBF posted some pics of his '01's odo at 99,999 then 100,000 miles. I seem to remember him saying that the head's never been off the bike.

I'm thinking it's like anything else, if you beat the bike to death it's gonna die young, take care of it and it'll last a long, long time. These bikes are inherently sturdy and durable so if you take reasonable care and change the oil frequently 100K should be easily reached. At least that's what I keep telling myself

three years 27k, no issues other than standard wear and tear. (with the slight exception of a fuel issue when I first got it but was sorted before I hit 500 miles.)
