Alsa Corp Chrome

Has anyone tried this chrome paint from Alsa Corp? They offer paint, peel&stick sheets, and even metallic leather.

I'm going to order a sheet of their FX Sheeting and apply it to a spare black tank and hopefully create a result similar to the Mototwin tank below.

I'd suggest selling the spare and saving for an alloy tank.

I'm going to order the FX Sheeting for $42 and hopefully try it next week.

I asked Alsa Corp for their advice on such a project and this was their reply...
"Either one would work, but they will look different. The Killer Chrome [paint] looks like a very highly polished aluminum. It is a bit darker than real chrome, and also a little less reflective than real chrome. The FX Sheeting [peel & stick] would look just like a mirror. I might go with the sheeting. It would certainly be an easier application."


As for the alloy tank, they are indeed beautiful, but I couldn't live without my magnetic tank bag.
