someone I know with a new Thruxton was experiencing similar stalling problems. turns out the dealer had to take the head off an de-carbon the engine it as it was choked up with soot after just about 10,000 kilometers. seems it was over fueling and it had to be re-mapped

EFI mag wheel Bonneville (2013) startup problems

it will be the battery, as I understand the first couple of years of the EFI bikes had a slightly smaller battery than the previous carb'd bikes and due to staring problems Triumph manage to fit the larger battery into the later EFI model. As such the storage capacity of your battery is a lot...

    Headlight Upgrade Results

this pertains to an '07 Bonneville so may be irrelevant to later years. a few weekends back I replaced the shitty plastic headlight globe with a Hella 1058 unit. these are the real deal, made of metal and glass and fit in the headlight bucket like a glove. but beware they are for riding on the...

Maintenance question, what do you do?

there have been instances of the nut tearing off slightly from the K&N filter can during install and leaking. of course the nut is to aid removal, not for tightening it in place which should be done by hand

    What helmet?

I can vouch for the Arai Vector, very comfy for long trips. real leather inside and looks like it is hand stitched by artisans but use a black open face with dark sunnies when trying to look cool amongst the Harley crowd
