I really like the Öhlins shocks. They have a "firm but still plush" feeling to them. I found they are sensitive to preload adjustments, to little and they bottom, too much and they get harsh. Previously I had Ikon 7514 shocks which were a huge improvement over the harsh stockers. So...

and: Would be both cheaper and better to ditch the original shocks I'd think...

13.5" shocks are often listed as 340mm Never heard of the TEC stuff, but ppl have been happy with Hagon, Ikon and Progressive brand shocks on our bonnevilles for years.
