Today my 904 kit installation began. I wont publish pics as they have been shown many times before. The barrels are set to get bored and pressed on Monday. My question is...what else should I do while the motor is apart? BTW at 80573 kms the motor looks like new inside.

I have 75,600kms (48k miles approx) on my 05 Speedmaster. Oil and filter done every 5000km. No oil burn, no noticible down turn in performance. Valves in spec as of last weeks check. My question is, will the bottom end at 75 thou km's support the higher compression 904 kit?

Are the shims that people are using on the carb needles a triumph specific part? I asked my local dealer and they said they had no listing of a part number for shims. Can I just get them from any m/c retailer?

Has anyone installed pazzo's or such like on their bonnie? Was it a good addition?

Naive question coming.... I have a 2007 bonnie, I want to do some airbox mods....I have a chance to pick up an efi airbox to play with... Are they the same?

According to the manual, you are supposed to remove the wheel and the fender when you remove the forks. I just want to change the headlight brackets..can I just lower the whole thing complete or is this a bad move?

A question for the more experienced wrenchers. I have done the reading on carb synching posts, and have gone through the process, easy enough. My question is: how much is significant in variation between cylinders? Mine were out 1 notch on a mercury based synch tool.
