I received a quote for $89.95 each for pods in aus....seems steep, that is without the crankcase breather or the battery box....$520 for the full kit. (oz $)
I would appreciate any leads, links, comments on how i can achieve this at a cheaper rate.

I can buy a second hand airbox to cut up for aus $180...

Uni pods are US$35 at Newbonneville.com . I'm quite happy with the results.
I chose Unis after reading several on an oil test forum claiming that K&N's do a poor job of filtering silica. Gravel Strainers is what they were nicknamed.

Duck! Here comes a fight.

How does DNA compare to K&N as far as pricing? Would you happen to have a DNA part# for pod filters that would fit the bonneville?

I believe they are more expensive than the K&N's, but you only have to buy them once. The part number is RO-5404-127. They have 54mm opening are slightly angled, 127mm long and flow better than anything else I've tried including K&N and UNI.
