Do you kill it under throttle, or while idling? With or without airbox/smog crap?

I've had this problem as well Guy, with the same end results. Mine came (the first time) after I gave throttle to make up a large, steep driveway and hit the kill switch while still at a good clip (stupid) so I could stylishly roll to a stop (even more stupid). Wound up popping off the air...

Hey Guy- maybe we should consider that meet halfway for lunch, go for a ride day now that the roads are clear.

I got really lucky and had no wind on my way there, and a tailwind on the way back. Best gas mileage ever out of the Scram with that 35mph tailwind.

Does anyone know if Norman Hyde or Meridian package jets with their pipes? Or if they do, what kind of nomenclature they use to identify the jet sizing? I'm wondering if maybe they could be the source of the infamous "15" tag included with my jets.
