It Was BAAAD

We're actually 400 odd Ks away(Dunedin), and it woke us at 4.30am. We had time to get up, wake our son and stand under a doorway, all from a dead sleep. So it must have really been bad in Christchurch!! I've got 2 kids up there and lots of mates and rellies and all is well with them. Minor losses only (Glasses, ornaments and pantry contents mostly)
Shaken not stirred!
My sons comment on the FaceBook was quite good,
"Wow that was actually quite scary... Stoopid Earthquake!"

Moggy, that's good to hear. I've never been through an earthquake and don't want to. Glad all family and mates are safe.
