Weaker CV carb springs?

Anyone got a source for weaker springs for mikuni cv carb?

Dynojet would probably be the easiest. Otherwise finding springs from a smaller carb/bike.

Can you drill the slide holes out bigger? It's a common mod on the stock Bonnie carbs and the results are similar to weaker springs.

Thanks guys. Took the airbox off an old Suzuki. I never really thought about the airbox and CV carbs. If I can locate a spare set of slides on fleabay, i'll try drilling as I was unable to find anything from DynoJet for this carb.

I'd think Sudco / carbparts.com might have them.

Best way would be to get some real carbs that doesn't need those pesky CV springs

Yep. I'm not spending any more $$ on it. My son is home this weeken and we are going to throw it together so he can ride it. You would not believe how little the local motorcycle shops around here actually know. I've been driving around looking for large round Mikuni jets. I'm lucky the parts guy even knows what a jet is, much less the right type.

They know less than I do, lets put it that way. And then they all ask me the same stupid question - what bike it's for. Ha!
