Thanks for posting this. I will be riding similar roads to those when I go to North Wales in two weeks time. I to will be on a 500 single albeit only a 28year old Honda.

In a strange twist of fate,.the 500 has committed hari kari.

Therefore I am rapidly recommisioning the Bonnie which was laid up for the winter.

Therefore, by bonnie to the Dragon Rally.

I participated in a "road" trip back in the early70s.
I road a Bultaco Matador from somewhere west of Syracuse NY to Cape Cod; all off road
at one time there was a designated trail system throughout New England and NY
we probably did no more than 30 road miles during the 3 day trip
