Throttle Tech Question

There's two adjustments at the carb for each throttle cable. JCW just helped me replace mine on the Silver Bullet. You can adjust the 'slop' and how 'tight' you want your throttle response to be when you give a twist.

Today I worked on smoothness during a two lap run of the "Loop".
Just trying to run my best line at speed, with smooth braking and acceleration.
[zero traffic, 75°F, 35%H- cloudless day, just perfect]

I had an annoying lag in the throttle though.
Had to keep my wrist in the thing compensating for slack.
Can learn to live with it, but rather have it tighter for more accurate response.

Where do I start adjusting to make it go away?

Thanks for any hints or tips you may provide.

Exactly as Bud said - if they are not to far out of whack start with easy adjusment on the cables at the throttle with the threaded (finger) adjusters. As you pull the slack out make sure the carbs still fully close and open when done.
