Throttle slack

Here's another newbie qustion - my new Black has always had about 1/2 inch of slack in the throttle if you rotate it in the opposite direction. I've read an older post on this subject but can't seem to figure out how to get rid of this slack - the first pic shows it snug the 2nd is the amount of slack with the throttle turned in the opposite direction.

Maybe a tip on taking out the slack on the handlebar components is what i need.

Thanks

You got it.. simply loosen the small locking nuts on both cables. Turning the long, skinny adaptor, adjust the top ("Pull") cable until you get 1/8" - 1/4" free play. The tighten the locking nut.

Do the same with the bottom cable. It's the throttle return cable.
