Stand By Me

Here's a few pics of a 1950 500cc Indian Warriar taken at today's Brownsville "Stand By Me" Cruise In. It's a celebration at the town of Brownsville, Oregon where the movie "Stand By Me" was filmed in '86.

And what's a celebration of "Stand By Me" without a pie eating contest. Here's my boy Jakobi:*
*note: all contestants wore trash bags to protect their clothing, cept for Jakobi who chose not to be a wimp.

That Indian is too cool for words.

Thanks for changing the link to dueling banjos. I love Bluegrass.

Good Looking Truck G...

I'm starting the 'New Paint' job on my mine next weekend...

Thanks. Unfortunately, I believe a piston quit on me the day after the event. I was racing a mopar GTX on the way home from the Cruise-In when the engine started making some strange sounds. Thought it was valves. The next day the engine began making a racket. Had a mechanic listen to it, and he sez it's probably a piston wrist pin or a piston broke. F@#k! Know of any 327's available? BTW, had no problem keeping up with the GTX. ;)
