Cheers Guys and girls....more to come...going fishing for a couple of days so I'll report in when I get back...

Cheers...

Don't get any of the eye leeches on ya :eeek:

Well James, no Eye Leaches dude and the fishing was shit!!...busted a good rod to boot...bastard!!!....Anyway more to the point is the progress on the bike.

Well, the paint job has been orgainsed, the tank , guards and side covers have all been bead blasted and delivered to Matt at Race paint. True fire paint coming up!!!...also have my new restoration logo being hidden in the paint job...(I;ll post that later)..The frame has been sanded, primed and filled and is currently been rubbed back to accept is 6th coat of gloss black. The wheels were bead blasted, then polished and looked like shit so I have reblasted them and they are being powder coated gloss black for $20 bucks each. That includes a zinc based anti foul under coat. The Header pipes are being rechromed as we speak. $100 bucks each, fork stanchions are being re-hard chromed for $140 each and I have a shit load of brand new bits and pieces to mount. I have organised the parts to be Spectrachromed and I picked up the new turbo exhausts and Icon rear shocks last week. Man this in one hell of a resto and the owner is not going to recognise it...more photos to come boys...

Cheers dudes...

Bret....

Not too bad a ride,I've always had road bikes then decided to try a cruiser , only had it a couple of months then swapped it for a honda trackbike 1992 Cbr600 with 70,000mls on it and put it back on the road (See below) My wife Chris then passed her bike test and wanted a T100 cos she used to love going on the back of my T140v i had in the UK, so i got her one for Christmas im stuck with the Cbr and she has the Triumph and i get to borrow it once in a while if im good.

Mate It's as awesome going on as it is in the video. I actually got to spray some of it over here in Aus and it cures exactly as it's shown. I have over 30 parts done on this bike to match the true fire or real flame paint job. The fella I'm building it for hasn't seen any of the bike since he dropped it off and I'm not showing him till its done. He's gunna shit man!!!

Cheers,

Lookin Good

Hi Mate,
Looks really good,
Who did the paintjob?? Those flames on black look very cool.
Its like I am going for with the 65 Triumph chopper I am rebuilding.
Havnt shortened that guard I got from you yet but I have lowered the bonnie with 412 progressives on rear and 22mm drop on front. Fitted a few other odds and ends.
Looking forward to seeing where this ends up.
Regards
