Refinishing predator pipes

Got this urge to make my headers and chrome predator mufflers look like they've got a brushed stainless finish. Looking for tips on how best to make this happen.

I have at my disposal a bead blasting cabinet with glass bead but idk if this would help. I was thinking maybe blast them to rough up the chrome and then use an abrasive pad like scotch bright to make the grain pattern?

Just thinking. Idk.

Aren't the Preds 100% stainless steel...no chrome???

Oh shit. You're right! I forgot about that, it's been so long since I got them. The header pipes are chrome, that's right.

Same question then, except mostly focusing on the headers now.

good luck. Be careful with the stock headers, they are THIN.
