Rear Shock Coil Springs...

OK does anyone know of an easy way to remove the rear coil springs off of your rear shocks? I was able to do it with some ratchet straps and a board but not really quick and easy. I want to try some different rate coils on my KYB's on my Thruxton...

If the top mounting bolt is removable put it in a vise and twist off the top, do it slowly in order to catch the spring when it comes off.

If only the bottom mounting bolt is removable just reverse the above procedure.

On the sets that I have to take them apart you must collapse the spring so you can remove the "Keeper" similar to removing a Valve keeper on an automotive engine, then the spring can expand and be removed.
