Were there any negative effects you can remember:chin:

With the RGV 17" wheel on stock forks . High speed instability, turning? Can't do the whole change right now. I was hoping to get a used hub and have a 17" wheel made up to install ,if it turned out handling bad I'd have the wheel ready to go. If I use my hub and it's bad I'm screwed till I get new trees:flag:

There is a substantial differance after fitting the 17inch wheel, all better on the handling side of things, quicker steering, no problems with stability. As I have said before, the foot pegs drag very easy and you will have to fit rear sets. If you extend the forks to lift the footpegs, it will bugger the handling again
