Well, the bluefin tuna being caught locally in the US have shown up with just a bit of radiation from the nuclear plant radiation in Japan. It's a small world I guess.

Nary a mention of this on the news here in Japan....
Every other day you find a story buried on the second or third page announcing some new "facts" that were kept from the public after the accident. The river next to me was tested recently and the mud was found to have massive amounts of cesium and other nasty stuff. Of course, nothing was said about the fish swimming there. It also provides the drinking water for well over a million people.....

I do a lot of Tuna fishing....Tuna travel all over the world and pick-up lots of nasty stuff. Great to catch and eat though...but don't eat too much.
Stripped Bass spend their winters up the Hudson River picking up all kinds of chemicals. I've caught those in the Hackensack River in front of Giants Stadium and the Hess refinery. I didn't eat those though!
