Newbie Question

I bought a 2nd hand Thruxton last week (~6K miles). My local triumph dealer inspected it and said everything was in perfect condition.

Yesterday, at home, this small tube leaked an small amount of what seemed to be gas (I got a cold, so I couldn't smell it). Is this normal? Why did it happen?

This tube is located behind the left exhaust and in front of the rear wheel.

looks like the vent tube that comes down from the tank. not too sure. i know two tubes go down that way...

Is the gas tank topped off? When I fill mine up if I dont leave a little room it will puke some out when I put it on the kick stand.

Yes I had filled the tank 13.3 l (maximum + 3 l reserve). It could be that, then...
