Need to ship a bike from PA to OK - any recommendations?

I just picked up a bike on eBay - a '73 Yamaha GTMX 80. It's the exact bike I had as a kid and the first real motorcycle I ever had.

Now I've got to arrange shipping from the seller's place in PA to my place in OK. I've not had a bike shipped before, but I'm sure folks here have done it. Any suggestions on shippers to use (or not use)? Any other tips or tricks to make sure things go well?

I have used uship.com with good results. You put in your info and folks bid on the shipping. Most are bonded/insured. PIck the one you like and go. I have shipped a Ducati and a Vanagon syncro this way.

I know Flea-Bay has lists of companies the do that sort of thing.

Have used Allied twice to ship for buyers and once to ship for myself, excellent service and care-they are a tad more than some others.

I think the seller used allied to ship my bonnie to me. And I used http://www.keyboardmotorcycleshipping.com/ to ship my s3 to the shop here from NOLA. Didn't have a prob with either one.
