Amy, Elke, Andy and I decided to do a little mushroom hunting today. Amy rode in my Sidecar and Elke rode with my brother Andy in his KLR outfit.
It was the first time I had ridden the Scrambler hard off pavement, the way I designed this rig to be used, and the first time I had taken a passenger in it. It works a little harder in the dirt than it does on pavement, not as easy as my KLR rig was. Cornering is a little less precise with a passenger aboard. Still it is quite capable and a fun ride.
We pushed through the manzanita and found our way to the secret patch. We paused for a little wine to sharpen our eyesight before the hunt
Amy found the first cluster of mushrooms, and the second bunch too. We almost stepped on them.

Elke found one hiding right at her feet!
