Main jet size on 07 carbed model

I just had the air box removal kit installed on my 2007 carbed Bonnie. The factory jet was 110 and the shop said they installed a 150 now. Does that seem right to you guys? I also have a D&D exhaust.

Sounds a bit high to me. I've got 140's on mine. I've seen a lot of guys with 140 or 145's on 865 motors, with K&N pods. I don't know about UNI's, but I hear that DNA filters need 150 to 155's.

Checking the color of the plugs after a ride won't tell you specifically if your mains are right. Gotta run at or near WOT for a fair distance, pull the clutch and kill the engine, come to a stop and then check the plugs for color.

With the D&Ds, no airbox and no AI with K&N pods on my 2008 T100, I'm running 150 mains, too.

doesn't sound unreasonable.

I'm running k&n filters with the airbox out and a pair of NH toga pipes, with 145/45 jets, 3.0mm slides, 1 needle shim and probably 2 turns out on the idle screws.

runs like a scalded dog, and I get an additional 4-5 mpg.
