M Bar & Momo leather Grips

Today I put some M bars on the Thrux and a set of Momo Billet and leather grips donated by GG Rat - thanks a heap Greg - they are nice! The M bars I put on cause they are so comfortable on the bonnies - well why not the Thrux? They sure look better , to me anyway, than the superbars. The F3's just sneak by with about a 1/16" to spare, whew! Can't wait for a spin in the mountains. :ride:

which way did you mount the M bars; up or down?
I tried them and found them to be very wide

They are upside down, I like the width - having 40 years of dirt bike and motocross - I find clip ons too narrow for comfort and leverage.

Your bike makes me extremely jealous, very nice. The bars and grips really go well, but I'll keep my clip ons! Let us know how they feel!

I like my elbow, and will probably see a lot of it. I usually mount a bar end mirror, but these grips don't allow that, so we shall see (what we see).

Thanks, The "clock" is an oil pressure gauge - newbonneville.com, mounted in a stock bracket I modified.

M bars just feel "right" they look great on your bike, too.
