Lucas LED

I have a question for Speed3Chris. I am installing the Lucas + LED tail light that you did the install on and I was wondering if you could tellme something about the wiring? The original tail light has only a red and black wire on it. I assume that is black for ground and red for positive. The LED light has 3 wires coming out of it. A red(pos), a black(neg), and a yellow(?). What is the yellow for and where does that go in my stock wiring harness?

wbarnier,
For the Lucas LED:
Red = brake light
Black = common ground
Yellow = Constant Running light

Below is a jpg of the bike harness I create to sort out wiring of aftermarket lights.
Note: its common to reverse the wires for brake and running light. If this happens in your case, simply reverse the leads to the brake and running hot leads above. Using a multimeter when testing the circuit on your bike before you install the LED light will answer any question about which is which.
See below and hope that helps:

That running light issue really screwed me with my LED directionals.

It took me way too long to realize, "Oh shit. Obviously I don't even have to use this wire...Idiot."
