Lights out

I have managed to burn out a main headlight at 5,500 mi.
I think I've done a pretty good job of dodging California's winter crop of mega-potholes, so a burnout in less than a year was a surprise.
Anybody else have that happen?

Also, I want to put out a contract on the guy that designed the reflector ears on the rear plate mount. It is impossible to get a socket on the plate bracket nut inside, to hold it steady while starting a new nylock.
Just sayin'.....

That does sound a bit fishy for a new bulb to go out so soon. I've had replacement bulbs not last very long, until I switched to LED's. It may have just been a bad/faulty bulb from the OEM.
