Left turn signal does not stay on??

Went for a beautiful ride today...great weather here on the East coast today. Noticed my left turn signal does not stay on unless i keep my finger pushed on it. Anyone else ever run into this? Not sure if I can fix components or I need to replace the entire left control. It's probably been broken for a while since I can't see my indicator light too well anyway!

So anyway...I checked for parts for this....you have to buy the whole control for $130. Keep any eye on yours. It was probably broken for some time. If you use the push to cancel method you can feel there is no click. I'll have to dive into it and see if i can rig up an internal fix.....Anybody have any left control parts around??
