KTM 990 and Scrambler!

Okay - kind of an odd couple - but my buddy and I had a blast on the dirt roads through the Washington Cascades here today. I think he's got a couple of photos of me on the Scrambler and I'll post those when I get them. We blasted up the highway, turned onto a secondary road, then onto a dirt/gravel road and ended up way back into the high country before crossing into another valley. I'd guess 40 - 50 miles on dirt - wasn't really keeping track.

No, the Scram didn't have any trouble keeping the pace with the 100 hp KTM. Of course, neither of us was really riding hard.

I need a riding buddy who's a better photographer! ;) Still, the ride was great. I'd estimate 40 miles of pavement and 40 or 50 miles of dirt road..

Looks like a great ride, Guy M. A friend and I have taken similar rides in the Cascades around Mt. Adams and Mt. St. Helens. Great dirt roads and they all, eventually, lead back out to a paved road back home.

wicked cool shots there, Guy.

while I'm sure the 990 is a fine bike, there was only one looker in that pair!
