Homemade things to my Thruxton!

Be careful, I started like that with a 2001 Bonnie, people asked me if they could buy one or two and before I realised I ended up running a substantial business (Jenks Bolts) until I sold it in 2008!! :eeek:

Oohh!!! I´m really flattered  May I ask? Why did you sell the company?

I´m not sure that i can handle it like you did, so i´m gonna follow your advice :)

But I will probebly still make stuff for my self, and my friends if they need it.

:sweden:

It got too big to run from home, annualised sales approaching Euros 90,000. I needed to move into a small warehouse, extend the product line. All that required capital. So I found someone with an existing bike parts business who was looking to expand. A deal was done.

I miss some aspects of the business....especially talking with customers about the Bonnies.

But I'm still involved with the new owners, giving them support and working on new projects. So I have the best of both worlds. Their success is my success.

Little pig, little pig...............

Aftermarket chokeknob............didn´t like them, so I made one myself. Found an old keyringpig that I thought was pretty original, so I drilled and glued on a M4 threaded screw in to rectum of the poor pig ;). Then spraypainted him red, put on some "Loctite" on the threads.......and here is the result.

Before.....

Thanks guys, will hopefully plant some "DIY" (Do It Yourself) seeds in your brains by showing what I have thought up.

Soon to be updated.........

Totally love your seat bolts. Much better than mine...but then again, mine is a perfect example of function than form.

Mange,

Great job on the mufflers (even if you did wind up taking them off) it would be interesting to play with some different designs to affect the sound note, and level.
