I have a Thruxton and a Speed Triple. My son has a Street Triple
the triples are twice as fast as the Thruxton and handle so much better
I like my Thruxton and ride it often but its no Triple, they are from different milleneum

Well hell. I thought I was the only one who liked that bike.

Just stopped by the dealership on the way home. Checking out the scrambler, which I almost bought instead of the Bonny, I find I really don't like the pipes on the scrambler compared to the Bonny. Though I really like the looks in pictures.

Initially I thought so. "Downgrading" from an 08 FJR 1300, :eeek:
Didn't last long, the T100 is ten times the bike the FJ was. An I'm with Dr on the triples, and extremely fortunate to have the Bonnie and my Speed Triple.

I regret the cash I blew on the later Bavarian Tractors before I got the Bonneville. The odd thing is I was offered an R80GS in 1998, decided it wasn't for me, went the F650/R1100 route and came back to 60HP/aircooled in 2004. I wonder how it'd have gone had I got the Airhead.
