Google car just went by

The Google Earth car just went by my house!! It was a Prius with a big 3D camera on top and Google written all over it. Never seen one before and then it goes right by my house. Sucker was going pretty fast too.

We had the same (or similar) Google car cruise through Fishkill two different days last month too. It was keeping up with traffic on Rt 9 with no problems. Pretty cool rig.

There's one that stays parked not too far from my house. They keep the camera rig all covered with black plastic when not in use.

We are close to Google, and regularly see them, as well as the robot cars that drive themselves...those are weird...its a fucking Prius with a scanner thing on top that spins & constantly adjusts stuff to keep it in lane & a safe distance from the car in front. The driver just sits in the car...

the google streetview car actually found its way onto the small island I come from - where there is 1 car, 15 tractors , and one motorcycle. And the ferry comes every wednesday
