Going to Goodwood!

Planning a trip to the Goodwood Revival next year with my wife and Dad, and wondering if anyone has some relevent thoughts, ideas, and information on the event. Vintage race cars, motorcycles and planes, hard to go wrong with a venue like that.

Its THE best historic racing event in the world, I went every year till I moved to California from the UK.

Buy tickets in advance, as they do not do "on the day" tickets anymore, they limit the amount of tickets now, so people can enjoy the event without huge crowds.

Vintage dress is encouraged, but not required. Jeans & leather jacket with some hair grease should suffice

Take a camera & have a ball!

I have nothing relevent to add except WOW that is freaking awesome!! I was drooling at the video over the cars then the motorcycles, but when the vintage warbirds showed up it pushed me over the edge, I was only able to post this after several valium. Have fun man, looks like the trip of a lifetime!!:worthy:

I can't imagine the fun and fascinating time it would be to attend Goodwood!
Goodwood Green is my favorite colour!

There is a show on Discovery Theater (IIRC) in rotation at the moment with the 2006 event.... Theres a pile of clips on YouTube too

The best event I ever went to was one held at "The Murph" in San Diego. Similar stuff, but only one day and not nearly as cool as Goodwood. i envy you!!
