I was looking for a good place for my registration and insurance card. Under the seat you have to take the bike apart to get it out. I'm sure an officer would be happy standing there while you took your bike apart. I took a heavy duty badge holder sleeve and used velcro to attach it to the inside of my side cover. With a quick release thumb screw it should only take a minute to get it out. Hopefully I won't be needing to get it out anytime soon.
