Excuse the noob question, regarding gas tank...

So with regards to the gas tank, is the outside the outer skin and does it have an actual inner gas tank under it? Or is it just one piece? And if so, what is the gap between both. Just want to understand the construction of the gas tank a little better. Any constructive feedback is much appreciated. My whip: '09, T-100. Thank you. Cheers.

I believe what you see on the inside is merely the other side of the tank as it goes over the frame of the backbone
