Emission testing....on a bike???

OK, I heard somebody posting about leaness on Bonnies coming from the factory to pass emissions.

Has anybody had to get their Bonnie emission tested in their state....... ever?

I'm thinking federal standards here and not state.

I live in Arizona and in Maricopa county they emission test motorcycles. I know, I have four road bikes and all of them are tested yearly.

I guess we're lucky in Connecticut. We don't have to go through that shit with out bikes, only cars.

Not yet in California. There has been talk of legislation but the Governator is a weekend biker, which helps.

Thailand has emissions tests for bikes over 5 years old and all new bikes sold now must be EFI.

Kinda strange really when you see all the fucking tuk-tuks and pickup truck taxis belching out fumes everywhere they go!

Just got the letter in the mail a few weeks ago that there are no more bike inspections AT ALL in New Jersey.

Here in GA they don't check bikes, heck only a small % of the state even checks cars.
