I'm pretty sure I saw a thread on here from someone planning on building and electric flat tracker bicycle. I was impressed. This one on instructibles.com looks pretty cool too:

Damn, I like it! He says that it "should" do 50mph but he better watch out for those tires, I doubt they were designed to hold that speed for any length of time.:hurt:
