Carrying tools

I use a chrome steel "can" from a 1973 Hodaka Wombat on my T140 to carry lots of tools
you can make a suitable tool carrier from a piece of PVC pipe (Home Depot) with screw on ends and mount it to the frame with hose clamps (jubillee clips)

Oh yeah, I got one of them too in the tail bag and a socket under the left side of the petrol tank to power it.


The socket is a good idea, I forgot about the seat being bolted down. On all my other bikes the seat tilts(ed) up and you can just clip it to the battery.

The fused wiring is already there. Triumph do a socket kit but it pokes out just above the exhaust...not good for the wires you're plugging in. I made my own bracket and mine now pokes out the non exhaust side.
