I have the stock carbs... are those the CVK36?

Also, I'm at 128/45, about 2-3 turns out (not more than 3). One shim on the stock (which are the same as Thrux, I beleive) needle. Airbox present but restrictor plate and snorkle removed.

im debating on preditors or dominators with in the month... this has been a yr long delema- been away from my bonnie and cant wait to upgrade some more, I need to consult the JEDI council here- itll be a new thread

With all the amazing information on here, it still seems that many have jetting questions. Rightfully so as it is more of an art than a science. However, with the proper equipment, it's simply science. Those of us who are weekend warriors not privy to mixture and exhaust sensor machines are still tinkering to find the correct combination. Maybe, we should start a "Your set-up" thread database, or did I miss that. I found a thread with someone close to my set-up and started there.

This weekend, it fitted 125's to my Bonnie (and the process was much easier than I thought it was going to be thanks to paulc's post and my small hands!!). Bike runs smooth and pulls consistently through every gear, no sputter, no popping, no hesitation. So, am I dialed in perfectly? Not sure.

stock pilot, 3 5/8 LHS, 3 1/2 RHS (I read somewhere that the LHS should be +1/8 turn)
Carbs are balanced

If you want to add my setup...2007 Bonneville 865 w/ CVK36 carbs, BC Sleepers, 125 mains, 42 pilots, 2 1/2 turns out, stock airbox but snorkel removed, Unifilter. This setup suggested by British Customs. Seems to work very well.

Elevation has a huge influence on proper carb settings, too bad most people aren't posting theirs.

I'm at 1000ft, 2007 865cc T100.
DJ124(=K132.5)/42/1 turn/DJ needle 3rd groove/no AB/no AI/TORs.

I'm at 13-14:1 AF everywhere except in the 12's between 1/8 and 1/4 throttle.

She rips and snorts and go go goes!

I just did my first jet upgrade, I have a 2008 bonnie T100, and I installed 122 mains, still stock 40 pilots, ai removed, TORs and 2 turns out. I also have removed the restrictor plate, removed the snorkle, and installed a UNI filter. SO............ I took the bike out, and it ran great from idle to about 4500 rpm, and then when I got on it, it started hesitating, and missing, with lost power that I used to have in the upper RPM range. I didn't mess with the needles at all, and still have 40 pilot jets. Is there any recommendations? Has any one else had this dillema? I can tell the bike has way more potential, but I think it's just running too rich, so I was thinking about putting a 120 jet back in that I bought. I bought 120's 122's, and 125's. What should I do?

your mains are too small I reckon - it's running lean at higher revs. You should be closer to 130 with those mods. That's the way I'd go first.

Is it possible you have an inlet air leak?

125 or higher mains I suspect. I just put 125's in mine and I have your mods but a free flow exhaust and I did not remove my restictor plate. My bike is running very smooth up and down the gears and I still wonder if I need a higher main or a shin in the needle. I remember reading somewhere that when you think you found the right main, go up one more size. Doesn't hurt to try I suppose.
