Bike cutting out intermittently..

Hey, I'm having a problem with my '07 cutting off while I ride. It seems like it could be a ground loose somewhere or a kill switch killing.. Happened 3 times today, has never happened before that. Everything was fine last week when I did a 300 mi day trip. Things I plan to check:

Battery connections
sidestand kill connections
maybe clean the on\off switch

any other thoughts on things I should check?

That sounds like exactly where you'd find that kind of fault.

Also maybe check/replace the main fuse?
Did anything recently get replaced or upgraded? Recheck those connections.
Is it possible a wire got pinched during a routine procedure, like pulling off the tank?

Just throwing out remote possibilities.............

Seems that way. Doing the cleanings listed above seem to have squared things. Hasn't happened since..

TC, also... how long has it been since you had it in to the dealer for a checkup? Maybe check with them to see if there have been any recommended factory updates to the computer maps, etc. Perhaps a software upgrade is needed. They have this nifty program called Triumph Autoscan that they can use to diagnose many problems... quickly.

I have none of these things. My bonnie is on an all carb diet!

Ok, I did take it in a couple years ago to get the valves checked. Otherwise, my dealership is on my back porch..
