I am registered for the 2012 Minuteman1000 http://http://www.minuteman1000.com/info.htm
There are two runs, a Saddle Sore 1000 event and a 24 Hour Open Rally. I signed up for the SS1000 event, which is an Iron Butt sanctioned event comprising almost 1,100 miles in under 24 hours. and after having spoken to the Rallymaster it seems to be the same this year.
It is the weekend after the Bennington Bash, June 8-10, 2012. You begin and end at the Clarion Conference Center, Northampton, MA. going clockwise on the map above. There is one other Triumph registered so far, a Thrux from NH doing the 24 Hr Open Rally.
Its $150 to enter and about $135 per night, Fri and Sat mandatory for hotel.
Completing the SS1000 gets you a pin, license plate bracket, certificate, and most importantly, an Iron Butt number.
Anyway, if anyone is interested in going, let me know.
