140 rear tire

Has anyone put a 140/80-17 rear tire on the Scrambler?

Thoughts? Could you feel any handling differences?

I have put a 140 Karoo on my Scrambler. It's very noisy and harder to maneuver, especially in curves.

It looks great though.

I advice you not to use it with the stock rim.

you generally will not gain anything with a "larger" tire. often you will find as upierz has handling not improved and a great increase in opportunity to have things rubbing in the wrong places.

Thanks!

That's exactly the type of response I was looking for. I've read about people using one size up or down on the rear and not really feeling the difference on a particular bike. I was curious what it would feel like on the Scrambler.

It does look nice though!

Upierz

Appreciate you being pointman on this issue.
And thanx Austin for bringing this question up.
Having seen the MM's tail...

I was sorely tempted to consider the same question
as my Saharas are coming close to replacement.

Cheers
