    Tire Replacement on 06 Scrambler

ContiTrail Attack in stock sizes. Cheap, sticky, still do find on a dirt/gravel road.

    Deal's Gap Ride

You might want to check on the status of the road. I had heard it mentioned that it was closed, but I am not sure if that is still applicable. Even so, there are some other great roads around which should be easy enough to find. Call up Destination Motorcycles (Triumph/BMW/KTM) and they...

    New Tires

Ive put about 250 miles so far on ContiTrail Attacks. Love 'em. They were also pretty cheap at $55 front / $115 rear in the stock sizes. They seem to roll right over longitudinal grooves and tar snakes without pulling. They are way more tire than I am rider, but thats not saying much.

    new tires = new bike

I put about 100 miles on the tires yesterday. I mostly heeded warnings about new tires and mold release, etc, so I didn't really push anything. But, they are smooth, sticky, and stable on tar snakes. Also, they turn in REALLY well, but part of that sensation could just be that I was used to a...

    new tires = new bike

I just got new tires put on the Bonnie Black...wow...like getting a new bike! I went with ContiTrail Attacks in stock sizes. They just feel so nice and smooth! I will write a review on the tires after I put a few more miles on them. All I can say now is that they are way better than the...

I need a small, economical car for work

I have a 2006 Mazda6i Sport 5-speed. Looks good, runs good. Much more room than an economy car. Very nice seats...I am 5'11" 230, but was comfortable in the car even when I weighed 275. Gets 30mpg at 70 mph. Mazda's depreciated pretty badly, so they are cheap used and there are a few...

Exhaust sounds: 5 bikes, 1 movie

I made another quick vid of my D&D pipes which have been repacked with Moose fiberglass material. It definitely takes the harsh edge off of the D&Ds. They sound much more like the Preds now. Still a little sharper and more popping on overrun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqmJ76hMrwY

    Bonnie with Sportster Bars

If they are the same as mine, then they are great. Its amazing how much small changes in dimensions improve the overall rideability of the bike.

Exhaust sounds: 5 bikes, 1 movie

Here is a very short video of my bike with D&D pipes. I just repacked them about 200 miles ago with Moose Racing fiberglass packing. It definitely quieted them down over the stock packing which looked like it was cinched down with strapping tape (which melted)...

    What´s your profession?

IT computer geek and musician. Just watched 20% of my IT co-workers get laid off yesterday. Glad it wasn't me, but still sucks. Thanks for all the stimulus and job creation, Obama and Congress.

Age....give it up...If you wish to

36, 2004 Bonneville Black is my first bike, purchased a couple of months back (though I rode a few others, mostly in college). It was my reward to myself for losing almost 50lbs last year. I love it!

    New Conti Trail Attacks

What sizes did you get? Any photos yet? I noticed that the 100/90-19 is HALF the price of the 110/80R-19. Anyone know why? There is no "R" in the size designation for the 100. Does that mean its not a radial? All the rear sizes are radial, so I am confused (being a bike noob and all ).

which K&N pods - air box eliminator

This must have been a straight-line race. The nightsters do jump off the line really well, but the one I rode turned about like a wheelbarrow.

    Concept custom Bonnie

Looks like they swapped out the front fender, then thought "What can we do with the original....hey...put it on the back!"

    Bonnie with Sportster Bars

The frigidaire is about a 2002 model. Works great and is currently stocked with 100 lbs of grassfed beef! The pull back on the bars is very close to the stock bars. The grips end up less than an inch farther apart at the ends. Its definitely not a radical change, but I was wanting more of...

    Bonnie with Sportster Bars

I was supposed to wear something under the chaps? I had no idea. The bars did come with a free H-D eye patch- normally $79.99! :)

    Bonnie with Sportster Bars

They are 1" and bolted straight on. This was the first mod I have made to the bike and it took about 30 minutes to swap them out. Total piece of cake. The bars themselves are from the somewhat new XL883N (Iron). Harley calls them drag bars for some reason.

    Bonnie with Sportster Bars

I picked these up from my local HD shop for about $50 (Christmas sale). I wasn't entirely unhappy with the dimensions of the stock bars, but they were ugly. I wanted bars a little wider, a little lower, but with similar pullback and better looking bends. These are about 1/2 inch wider than...

    Any Dodge Avenger Drivers?

I believe that the Avenger has been recognized as having the worst resale value among new cars. But, if you want to drive it forever (will the quality allow that?) or are buying used, it shouldn't matter much. I will say, though, that I always thought leather seats were better for kids than...

    Lurker no more.

I picked up a 2004 Bonneville Black w/5000 miles yesterday. It was not good riding weather yesterday, so I just got to know her- cleaned filters, replaced plugs, charged her up good. Bike appears to have the NewBonneville D&D performance package: exhaust, NARK, AI removal, and a few extras...
