Sorry, there is no retry setting I can change on the server. And I know several people that connect using dial-up. I still think this is some software or issue on your PC, not necessarily an actual connection issue. type this into a dos window, and post back the results... tracert...

nope, we were all here. The internet is made up of lots of routers, it's possible there was one down somewhere that prevented you getting here from there. Especially with all the shaking going on in Kalafornia, and this server is closer to the east coast. There were several west coasters...

Are you running some kind of a cookie cutter prog ? It's not the site.. somthing is screwing up the cookie that is being sent to your computer.

I think you guys have some threads that are still subscribed, with notifications. I have tested this with every setting, and it works as it should. Remember, in user CP there are default options for what happens when you reply to a thread. if you have not changed those default options...

I did make one change to the email settings (enabled locking), let me know if that helps. I wouldn't really expect it to help with "no email notification" setting. If it's set to no email, you should not get any email period. You man need to make sure your default setting for subscriptions is...

If you are clicking the remember me button, then it's a browser problem. If you aren't, the timeout is 900 seconds I believe.
