The bike handles like a dream and is so much fun to ride. I have more fun on this than any sport bike. With only around 70hp you can rip the throttle and the suspension handles anything you throw a it. It does sit a little low in the front as the forks are not as long as the stock forks.

Some more progress made on the thruxton. Blacked out engine covers, small led blinkers, and steering damper installed.

The seat is on hold as of right now. Probably going to buy a used second hand seat then have it rewrapped in alcantra material. As for my exhuast I'm running the T.E.C. 2-1 system. Got a great deal on it. Looking into swapping it out for a D&D tt exhaust or maybe an arrow 2-1 scrambler exhaust...

I wouldn't go wider than a 4.25" rear rim fitted with a 160 tire. Anything wider and you start getting into clearance issue with the chain and rubbing. I would also recommend Buchanan wheels as they helped me out with my wider rear wheel. I'm currently running a 17"x4.25" rear wheel with a...

Well done! I'm interested in the alcantara seat you have. I've looked for an alcantara version with the cowl mounting holes but could not find one anywhere. Did you buy the alcantara material separately then had your old seat reupholstered? Can you take a couple more pictures and send them to me?
